Today I decided to name my new beautiful hens. I have four of them:
Gurtrude, NuNu, Julia & Clucky (see pix). I get a reall sense of satisfation my hens are living a really good life in the outdoors wth plenty of space. I love my hens like I love my cat and dog - I see no reason why people think it odd I take my hens everywhere on a lead - it would be ok if they were furry!
Something occured to me - chickens were furry then people probably would'nt want to kill and eat them as anything furry (like a cat) is loveable and deemed a bit cruel to kill.
